Don’t underestimate how powerful this is! Let’s say you publish articles at both Directory A and Directory B. You find by using tracking IDs that Directory B frequently leads to sales, while Directory A almost never does. You don’t really know why, as you publish the same articles at both places. Regardless of the reason, it would make sense for you to focus more effort on Directory B for increased profits. It might also be useful to change your article “style” or topics & see if sales generated from Directory A will improve.
